A First-Time Student is
anyone who has never attended any post secondary institution. In other words, First-Time Students
have not earned college credits at any other institution. To
be eligible for admission to Enterprise-Ozark Community College,
the First- Time
Student must meet one of the following criteria:
- The student holds The Alabama High School Diploma, an equivalent
diploma from another state, or the equivalent diploma issued by
a non-public high school that is regionally and/or state accredited;
OR
- The student holds a high school diploma equivalent to The Alabama
High School Diploma issued by a non-public high school and has
passed the Alabama Public High School Graduation Examination;
OR
- The student holds a high school diploma equivalent to The Alabama
High School Diploma issued by a non-public high school and has
achieved a minimum ACT composite score of 16 or the equivalent
score on the SAT; OR
- The student holds The Alabama Occupational Diploma, an equivalent
diploma from another state, or an equivalent diploma issued by
a non-public high school, and has achieved a minimum ACT composite
score of 16 or the equivalent score on the SAT; OR
- The student holds a GED certificate issued by the appropriate
state education agency.
The student's official academic transcript must be received by the
EOCC Admissions Office before the end of the student's first term
of enrollment. If the transcript has not been received, the
student's transcript will include the following statement: CONTINUED
ENROLLMENT DENIED PENDING RECEIPT OF ADMISSIONS RECORDS. This
notation will be removed from the transcript upon receipt of the required
transcript.
