A Transient Student is someone who is enrolled at an accredited institution and intends to apply and enroll at Enterprise-Ozark Community College on a temporary basis with the intention of returning to his or her primary institution. Transient Students are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
In order to enroll as a Transient Student, a Transient Letter - sometimes called a Letter of Good Standing- from the primary institution must be provided to the EOCC Admissions Office. This letter states that the student is eligible to return to the primary institution and that the classes taken at Enterprise-Ozark Community College will be transferable there. This letter should be sent to the Admissions Office on the campus where the student plans to enroll or to:
Enterprise-Ozark Community College
Admissions Office
PO Box 1300
Enterprise, AL 36331
The Transient Letter must be received by the Admissions Office before the end of the student's first term of enrollment. If the letter has not been received, the student's transcript will include the following statement: CONTINUED ENROLLMENT DENIED PENDING RECEIPT OF ADMISSIONS RECORDS. This notation will be removed from the transcript upon receipt of the required Transient Letter. Also, the student's ESJC transcript reflecting the credits earned as a Transient Student will not be released to the primary institution until the Transient Letter is received.
