According to Mr. Kantrowitz, FinAid "is a free, comprehensive, independent, and objective guide to student financial aid." This is a great site to bookmark.

The U. S. Department of Education's Student Loan Ombudsman
The SFA Ombudsman works with student loan borrowers to informally resolve loan disputes and problems. The goal of this site is to facilitate and provide creative options/alternatives for borrowers needing assistance with the following federal loans: Direct Loans—Subsidized and Unsubsidized Direct Student Loans, Direct PLUS Loans (for parents), and Direct Consolidation Loans; Federal Family Education Loans—Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, FFEL PLUS Loans (for parents), and FFEL Consolidation Loans; Guaranteed Student Loans, SLS Loans; and Perkins Loans.

The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA)
KHEAA is the guarantee agency ESCC uses for all student loan processing. This site contains a link to KHEAA's online student loan entrance interview process, and now contains online exit counseling as well. This site enables students who are interested in applying for a Federal Stafford Loan to complete the entrance interview requirement online. Students who would prefer a one-on-one counseling session and those who have additional questions left unanswered by the online interview should contact the Financial Aid Clerk at (334) 347-2623, extension 2214 to make an appointment to see a member of the Financial Aid staff.

The National Student Clearinghouse
The Clearinghouse was launched in 1993 by a cross-section of student loan industry representatives to improve student loan services for all participants in the student loan process. The student section of the site includes a link to LoanLocator, a "fast and easy way to find out who who is servicing your student loans". To find out who is servicing your student loans, click here.

 Real Estate in the Wiregrass
This website is provided so students and parents can research real estate listings and prices in Enterprise and the surrounding area.
