The COMPASS placement test is required for beginning freshmen before they attend orientation and/or classes at ESCC. A student must have an application for admission on file with the college before they will be allowed to take the COMPASS test. This free test is given daily by appointment made in the Guidance Services Office ((334) 347-2623 ext. 2295). The test is untimed but usually students finish within 2 1/2 hours.
