The Workforce 2000 Partnership is a network of industries and educational institutions that provides training in communication, computation, and creative thinking to employees in the textile, apparel, and carpet industries. The Partnership serves line employees and first-line supervisors at 14 plants in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. The curricula developed by the Partnership uses materials from the workplace to teach the basic and higher order skills to small groups. Curriculum modules will contain a curriculum guide, lesson plans, and handouts. References also may be made to commercially prepared materials. All proprietary materials have been removed.
